Mrs Cadman's English News

I want to say a HUGE thank you to everyone who purchased books from the Book Fair this week.

It was amazing to see so many families taking the time to visit and choose books to read at home.

From your purchases, school will receive a percentage to spend with Scholastic.

With the help of the Year 6 English Ambassadors, we will purchase some fabulous new books for our shelves!

Thank you again for your purchases and your contribution to the fabulous reading culture we have here at Crestwood Park!

Well done to William, Daisy and Mia for going over and above with their reading!  All three children have impressed Mr T, with how much reading they are doing at home.

Thank you so much to Archie for having a clear out of his books and donating them to school.

We had some very happy children when they appeared on the shelves!

Pastoral Update

We hope you are all ok? Autumn days are definitely here, it's time to find out your cosy jumpers and look forward to a nice hot chocolate.

This week we are sharing some recipes. Eating healthily throughout the winter months can help to keep away seasonal illness.

Why not try a new recipe, it will be fun to make it together. We'd love to see what you make, you could send in a photo and we can share it on next week's newsletter. Send them to spriest@crestwood-p.dudley.sch.uk

Have fun together whatever you do and enjoy your weekend. Look after each other, lots of love from The Pastoral Team xxx

Finally...

As another busy week comes to an end, I would like to thank again our Crestwood Park Family for all of their dedication and hard work.

Our Ofsted Report is something we are proud of and you should all be very proud of your children who are at the heart of everything we do.

Please take a look at the newsletter titled "What's Going On In Our Community" for information regarding events in the local area!

Safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children is the responsibility of everyone in our school and at all times we consider what is in our children's best interests. We work to ensure our children are safe and cared for and by doing this we are protecting their health and development and preventing them from harm.  If we are worried, we will raise concerns, share information and take prompt action with the aim of ensuring families receive the right help at the right time.
