Welcome to our Newsletter
It has been ‘My Money Maths Day’ in school today. Across school lots of financial learning has taken place. I have seen children learning about the value of coins, how money impacts our lives and the importance of budgeting and saving. We really hope days like today help our children to become aware of financial matters that will affect their adult lives.
Such ‘Curriculums Days’ are planned to ensure we are really equipping our children for happy and successful futures. Our next themed day will be next Friday when we are promoting wellbeing. For this, we are asking the children to come to school wearing their ‘happy’ colour.
'Wellbeing Day' will come at the end of the week where year 6 will have taken their SAT’s. Yes, it really is SAT’s week next week! This marks an important week for our year 6 pupils and so that they can start each day feeling fuelled and focused, SAT’s breakfast club will be held from 8.15am on Monday to Thursday. Whilst this is not compulsory, we really do find that it helps to calm any nerves ahead of the tests.

Mrs Cadman's News
Just a reminder that it is SATS week for Year 6 next week. The children will take a number of tests during the week, showing all that they have learnt during their time in Key Stage 2. All pupils across the country have to take these tests.
We know that our Year 6 pupils will try their very best during these tests, as they have demonstrated a maturity when practising.
We also know that these tests don't define them - we are proud of the qualities they show on a daily basis and offer to us at school.
So to Year 6.... aim high and be the best that you can be!
TTRS Battle of the Bands!
The TIGERS are still in the lead!
Remember - the winning team will be awarded with extra House Points at the end of this half term, so get playing!

On a day when we have been thinking so much about money, I thought I would end this newsletter with the quote ...
"Money fills pockets. Happiness fills hearts."
Wishing you all a happy weekend!

Safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children is the responsibility of everyone in our school and at all times we consider what is in our children's best interests. We work to ensure our children are safe and cared for and by doing this we are protecting their health and development and preventing them from harm. If we are worried, we will raise concerns, share information and take prompt action with the aim of ensuring families receive the right help at the right time.
