SAFE

This term we are focusing on our SAFE SPARK.

We are looking for children who are being safe - this may be within the classroom, on the playground or on the trips that all children will be going on this half term.

Children can even suggest ways of being SAFE and let their teachers know.

Throughout the term, we will be setting challenges for the children to demonstrate how SAFE they can be!

Who will earn their SAFE Sparks badge by the end of the term?!

Mrs Cadman's News

Next week, I will be announcing our next 'Let's Get Writing' Challenge.

I will explain during assembly on Wednesday.

Look out for further information in next week's newsletter!

πŸ“šβœ¨ A SPECIAL MENTION βœ¨πŸ“š

Violet-Rose has very kindly donated a generous amount of reading books to School. This thoughtful gift will help enrich our library and provide many exciting reading opportunites for other pupils across the school. We are incredibly grateful for such kindness and generosity, and we know the books will be enjoyed by many children for years to come.

Thank you for helping to inspire a love of reading in our school community! 🩷

Pastoral Update

Welcome back to the last term of this academic year, we are sure there is lots to look forward to and we are going to have lots of fun!

This week we would like to share a very interesting article.  How do we support our children with "BIG" feelings.  Do we need to step in straight away?  Or will our children become more resilient by knowing we are close by to help if they need it? Why not take a look at this short article. We hope you are finding these useful.

Have a lovely weekend, look after each other, lots of love The Pastoral Team xxx

Finally...

This week has certainly shown me that Crestwood Park is much more than a school- it really feels like a family.

The love, gifts and surprises I received on my birthday on Wednesday certainly made me feel so special- THANK YOU ALL SO MUCH.

Please take a look at the newsletter titled "What's Going On In Our Community" for information regarding events in the local area!

Safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children is the responsibility of everyone in our school and at all times we consider what is in our children's best interests. We work to ensure our children are safe and cared for and by doing this we are protecting their health and development and preventing them from harm.  If we are worried, we will raise concerns, share information and take prompt action with the aim of ensuring families receive the right help at the right time.
