🍎🍐🍞 Breaktime Snack Update! 🍞🍐🍎
After Half Term, KS2 pupils will only have the option for one piece of toast instead of two at breaktime.
This change is being introduced to help reduce food waste and in line with forthcoming school food standards.
Fruit will still be available for pupils to enjoy.
Thank you for your understanding and support!

Our SPARKS!
Well done to all the children who earned their SMART Sparks badge today! They were noticed by adults in and around school at least 10 times looking and behaving SMARTLY. They also followed our SMART playground expectations and achieved their own SMART targets.

Take a look at the dates for Forest School after half term.
Please can all children bring in a complete change of clothes, so that uniform is not worn during Forest School sessions.
With the weather changing, we don't want any part of uniforms getting dirty, muddy, or smelling of smoke from the fire.
Many thanks.

School Roof Replacement
During half term; our total roof replacement project will be commencing.
It is a lengthy project, with a completion date of 5th March. There will undoubtedly be significant disruption to both the outside and inside of our school building, whilst these essential works take place.
During this period, you will notice increased activity around the school site, including scaffolding, contractors, deliveries and construction noise. There will also need to be some changes made to access arrangements, parking and the use of certain areas of the school.
We will communicate any changes as and when they arise. It will be essential that anyone visiting our site takes note of the additional signage and adheres to any new health and safety requests.
Of course, the safety and well- being of our pupils, staff and families remain our highest priority.
We will work closely with the contractor to minimise disruption as much as possible and ensure that safety measures are in place throughout the project.
We ask for your support, patience and understanding as we manage such a large project. There will certainly be times when the work affects our usual arrangements.
We will endeavour to keep you all as fully informed as possible of any significant developments or changes that may affect families, including any necessary adjustments to drop-off and collection arrangements.
Thank you, as always, for your continued support and cooperation.
Our new roof is very much needed and will help us maintain a safe, welcoming and fit for purpose future learning environment for our children.

Safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children is the responsibility of everyone in our school and at all times we consider what is in our children's best interests. We work to ensure our children are safe and cared for and by doing this we are protecting their health and development and preventing them from harm. If we are worried, we will raise concerns, share information and take prompt action with the aim of ensuring families receive the right help at the right time.
