Tag Rugby Festival

Today, 10 children took part in a TAG RUGBY festival at DK Rugby Club.

They worked alongside other schools from the local area, to practise a variety of skills.

The festival was led by staff and students from Ellowes Hall.

The children represented our school in a polite friendly and sportman-ship manner.

Well done to the Year 5 and 6 children who took part!

Mrs Cadman's English News

This week, I have introduced the new Let's Get Writing Challenge.

I have already had some entries, which the English Ambassadors will have a look at.

Awards will be given and then each person who has taken part will be entered into a raffle, with a chance to win a prize.

So get writing and hand it in or send it to me via email.

Pastoral Update

We hope you are all well and have had a good week.

Setting boundaries can be so difficult with our children, it can be challenging when your child becomes defiant and wants to take charge. Emotions can run high, as parents we're not sure if we're being too hard or too soft, we feel guilty for saying "No." Take a look at this article to guide you when supporting your child.

We hope you find this article useful. Have a lovely weekend, look after each other, lots of love The Pastoral Team xxx

The Children’s Commissioner, is asking for our help in making sure the children and young people at Crestwood Park Primary School have the opportunity to take part in my national survey, The Big Future.

Safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children is the responsibility of everyone in our school and at all times we consider what is in our children's best interests. We work to ensure our children are safe and cared for and by doing this we are protecting their health and development and preventing them from harm.  If we are worried, we will raise concerns, share information and take prompt action with the aim of ensuring families receive the right help at the right time.
