Welcome Back
A big welcome back to everyone, trust you have had a restful and happy holidays. Hopefully, you are all raring to go, ready to start the new school year. A letter will be sent out with your children giving a list of dates. Please take time to read through so you don't miss out on our up and coming exciting events. All of this information can be found on our website. We would like to introduce and welcome our new staff members. Mrs E Williams and Miss Price have joined as class teachers in Year 5. Mrs L Williams will be supporting across Year 3 and Year 4 whilst Mrs Priest takes on a new full time Pastoral Support teaching assistant role for 1 year initially.
Update Forms
This year's update forms will be sent out early next week. Please check the details thoroughly and make any amendments, if necessary. It is very important that you return them as quickly as possible so we can ensure we have your up to date contact details in case of an emergency. Even if there are no amendments we need the forms back. Along with contact details there are other consent forms to complete, again please send back as soon as possible to ensure your child doesn't miss out on any visits that are planned outside of the school grounds.
After School Clubs
The clubs will start back week commencing 18th. Look out for the letters which will be sent out with the children. Please send the reply slips back as soon as possible with the payment to secure your place.
Mobile Phone Usage in School
In this day of modern technology we all have a mobile phone; to take photos, to surf the web, check our social media accounts. As our children's safety is our priority we would like to ask that mobile phones are not used inside the school, during occasions such as library sessions and class events. It is however acceptable to take a few photos during assemblies to record your child's achievements. If, however, there is another child on these photos (as happens in group shots) then we must insist that these photos are not put on to any social media at all. We hope you understand our reasons for this request.
