Parents' Evening Appointments
Letters were sent home on Monday giving details of our forthcoming Parents' Evenings on 14th and 15th February. To ensure these run smoothly, appointments are made (10 minutes duration) and you are asked to send back the reply slip requesting your preferred day/time. Forms need to be back to teachers by Monday 5th at the very latest as they will be sending appointment times home on Wednesday of next week. Please make sure you get your preferred day/time by sending back your request.
The Book Fair is coming soon.
We will be holding a Book Fair, after school, on 15th and 16th February. It will also be open during Parents' Evening on 15th. Remember to bring in your pennies so you don't miss out. There will be something for everyone and to suit all pockets. So please bring your children along on one of the evenings. As well as promoting reading it also earns the school commission which we always use to purchase new books for our libraries!
Wellbeing Award for Schools
We are looking to achieve an accredited wellbeing award, which assesses how we support the mental health and wellbeing of our pupils, staff and the wider school community. It is an exciting development opportunity and is a chance to make a real difference to the life of the school. In order for us to assess our strengths and areas for further development, we will be seeking your thoughts as parents. In the next week or so, you will receive an email asking you to complete a short survey. We would be very grateful if you would complete this before half term, so that we can develop an action plan. Thank you for your support.
Girls' Football Success!
Our girls' football team played an away match at Bromley Pensnett Primary and came away with a fabulous 4-0 win! Abbey scored a double which makes her Crestwood Park's top goal scorer, out of both the boys and girls teams, with a an impressive 8 goals. Lexie and Ellie-May scored their first ever goals - well done girls! In fact, congratulations and well done to all involved on this fantastic win.
