POLITE NOTICE ABOUT PARKING AROUND OUR SCHOOL

Following a visit on Wednesday from our local police officer we have been asked to remind all drivers to be more considerate when parking to drop off or collect children. He had cause to speak to several parents about their parking, particularly on the corners of adjoining streets and also on the zig zag lines outside school. Please be mindful of others when parking so that everyone's safety is assured.

COMIC RELIEF

Did you wear your silly socks for Comic Relief today? We hope everyone enjoyed the sight of all those silly socks! We will give you a total of how much we raised for this very worthwhile cause next week. Watch this space.

NITS AND HEADLICE

We are experiencing problems once again with nits and headlice. Especially in Key Stage Two. Please check your child's hair - staff have seen lice crawling through children's hair while just passing behind them in class so they are very easy to spot. There is no shame in getting headlice, it is shameful however to do nothing about it. Please help us to get rid of this problem once and for all!

EASTER HOLIDAY CLUB

Look out for a letter from Mr Barnett offering places at his forthcoming Easter Holiday Club. The cost will be £10 as usual and many exciting things are being organised. Get in quick if you want a space as we think they will be sold out fast!

NEW WM POLICE MESSAGING TOOL

Do you know what's happening where you live and work? Would you like to know more? WM Now is the new messaging tool which will replace an existing WM Police system 'VC Relay'. The system is also used by other community organisations such as Action Fraud, National Neighbourhood Watch and many more, so you as a community member can sign up detailing exactly what you want to hear about.
