Reminder - Pantomime

As you know our children have been offered a great opportunity to see a professional company performing The Wizard of Oz for a mere £6. This has been possible because of your generous support of our Festive Fundraising last term and the Parent Voice Disco but we hope you agree it's a bargain.

Have you booked your child's seat? If not please make sure you do so as soon as possible.

Healthy Minds and Bodies Day

Next Friday, 19th January, all of our children will be taking part in a Healthy Minds and Bodies Day. All of the children will be taking part in this initiative including healthy sports and associated crafts. They will take part in 5 different activities and we are asking families to sponsor your child. For the day to run smoothly, we are asking that children wear sports clothes for the entire day. The day promises to be fun filled and action packed, and by sponsoring your child you are also supporting the school.

Please note that there will NOT be a Praise Assembly on this day.

Clubs for this half term

You will have seen letters inviting children to various after school clubs. This half term we have KS1 Gymnastics on Tuesdays and KS2 Gymnastics on Wednesdays. Running Club has resumed on Thursdays and KS2 Multi Sports on Thursdays too. The times for these clubs can be found on the Diary Dates at the beginning of this newsletter. Year One have been offered a cookery club but this may not be possible due to lack of support.

Chicken Pox

We have three children in school who have been diagnosed with Chicken Pox (2 in Year 4 and 1 in Reception). As we are all aware, children are infectious before the rash appears so we could see more cases soon. If your child is unwell - high temperatures, lethargy - please check for Chicken Pox spots

Spare Clothes Plea

If you have any outgrown clothing which would fit 4, 5, 6yrs, please could we have them for our 'accidental' Key Stage One children. We especially need pants (boys and girls), socks, tights, trousers, skirts etc for children to change into after accidents. All donations will be most gratefully received, just pop them into the school office
