As younger siblings will not be at this assembly, under fives can model their bonnet at Lapwood Lambs on Monday 3rd (2:15-3:15pm)

After School Clubs

The Year 5/6 Cookery Club which runs on Tuesdays and also Running Club on Thursday are both cancelled for next week. After school clubs will commence on the second week after the Easter holiday, please look out for letter giving details of what will be on offer for the next term. Running Club and Year 1 and 2 Cookery will continue but Sports Clubs will change so please make sure you receive letters telling you what will be happening.

Gymnastic Success

On Wednesday of this week, Mr Barnett took a team of budding gymnasts to compete in the Dudley Schools Gymnastic event at David Lloyd Leisure. Only four of our pupils took part and how impressed were we when two of them scored an average of 8.9 and two an average of 9.1 - out of 10! Well done to all who entered, we are so proud of you.

Easter Services

We are holding our Easter Service and Egg Raffle starting at 9:05am on Friday 7th April. We then have our Achiever Assembly and Easter Bonnet Parade starting at 2:15pm. As explained in a letter sent earlier this month we need to limit attendance to no more than 2 members of any family. To this end we will issue each family with 2 tickets per event, these will be sent out with children early next week. At these larger gatherings we ask that no younger siblings attend. We must adhere to fire regulations on the number of adults in the hall together with giving our children a chance to perform at their very best without too much distraction.

Easter Fun Day

Did you get a copy of the letter sent by Mr Barnett earlier this week giving details of the 'Fun Day' that will be happening on Monday 10th April? If not and you would like your child to join in please check bags and pockets for the letter. If you would like another copy please pop to the school office. All requests need to be made by Monday 3rd.

Stagecoach Workshop

Stagecoach will also be running a workshop at Crestwood Park for four days from 10th to 13th April, 10am until 1pm each day. The theme for this is 'Popstar Party' at a cost of £50 for the four days with a 50% discount for siblings. Stagecoach Performing Arts Theatre School is a well renowned school of performing arts, many of their pupils can be seen on stage for most of the amateur dramatic performances in the Midlands as well as professional shows. For places please contact Catherine Needle on 07855 770013.

Lapwood Lambs

Our newly revamped Stay 'n' Play group, Lapwood Lambs is now running smoothly with lots of new ideas being used each week for the craft table. Next Monday's session will include an Easter Bonnet Parade with a Cadbury's crème egg on offer to all who wear their bonnet with pride.
